Review - Rock Bottom Brewery - San Diego's Pelican Light

In search for the Stone Brewery, after gallivanting through the amazing Petco Park (home of the San Diego Padres), we stumbled upon the Rock Bottom Brewery. We were quite pleased with the location and atmosphere; but as you will see in the 8 reviews, the beer could not stand up to a bud light.

The appearance was quite impressive. Great lacing and amazing while head that was fully diminishing. The Pelican Light was clear and light yellow in body. It wasn't very aromatic, but did have hints of yeast. Initially acidic moving into light bitter for a short duration. Light body with soft carbonation and watery on the palate. This wasn't an impressive selection, it's obvious that they serve this beer to their bud light drinkers in mass quantity.

At the end of the 8 beer sampler, there wasn't a single beer that Sean wanted to drink a pint of. It was quite depressing.
