Review - Stone Brewing Company's IPA
"Light-medium malt character with a heavy dose of over the top hops! Two full weeks of "dry hopping" give this beer its abundant hop aroma and crisp hop flavor." -- Stone Brewing Co.
First off, this is a delicious IPA. From the 22oz bottle, it pours a light amber color with a large, creamy, off-white head. Body clarity is hazy. Aroma is of heavy flowery hops, with hints of apple, pear, and honey. Initial taste is moderately sweet as the honey continues to be present. There is also some light bitterness. Finish is both lightly sweet and bitter. Mouthfeel is light with an oily texture and lively carbonation. This is not a beer for hop-haters.
