Knuckleball

Review - Stone Coast Brewing Company's Knuckleball Bock

"Light amber, light bodied lager with light to medium hop character. Available baseball season March 1 - October 31" -- Stone Coast Brewing

The Knuckleball isn't just a clever name. This beer bobs and weaves and throws a little misdirection at you, but in the end, it really doesn't do anything. It pours a dark amber color, settling a slightly lighter hue with an off-white head. Clear body with a fully diminishing head, leaving no lacing behind. Aroma is of light, faint malts with a slight soapy character as well. Initial taste is light bitter, moving to a moderately bitter finish with an average duration. Oily in texture, with lively carbonation on the tongue, it leaves a sweet taste when finished.
