Stoudts Pils

Review - Stoudts Brewing Company's Pils

"The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt's Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma." -- Stoudts Brewing Co.

Pours a cloudy, medium yellow color, settling a light yellow. Fizzy white head with reasonable duration. Fair lacing. Aroma is of light yeast. Intial taste is pleasant, but kicks into a sharp bitter finish that is not pleasant. I feel like I just said a bad word, and had to bite a bar of soap. Light on the mouth, it has a watery texture with hardly any carbonation.
