Review - Trout River's Chocolate Oatmeal Stout

We did not enjoy our swim in the trout river with this one. It pours a dark brown color with a small, fizzy light-brown head. Fair lacing over a fully diminishing head. Murky body. Aroma is of roasted coffee malts and alcohol. Initial taste is lightly sweet, moving to a light bitter finish with a slight coffee taste with a short duration. Light on the mouth, it is watery and leaves us slighty dry, with soft carbonation. This is a lackluster beer, boring.
