Mohegan Sun’s Original Cold Moon Winter Ale Returns For The Season

UNCASVILLE, CT (December 14, 2009) – Mohegan Sun is now serving its seasonal Cold Moon Winter Ale, a beer brewed for over ten years by The Brew Pub at Mohegan Sun. The Ale is on tap now in The Brew Pub as well as various locations throughout the property.

Cold Moon Ale is a full body beer with a dark red to dark copper tone. It starts out sweet and ends with a chocolate and coffee finish. One of the first of three original Ales brewed at Mohegan Sun’s micro brewery, Cold Moon is made with three types of malt that include Amber malt, Pilsen malt and Traditional Dark malt. Cascade and Kent Goldings hops provide added flavor.

Cold Moon Ale is one of four seasonal ales brewed by The Brew Pub. Sachem Ale and Mohegan Lager are brewed year round as well. Guests can find Cold Moon Ale at: The Brew Pub at Mohegan Sun, Hall of the Lost Tribes, The Wolf Den, Lodge Bar, Harvest Moon Bar, Todd English’s Tuscany, Leffingwells Martini Bar, the East Wind Bar and The Longhouse, Pompeii & Caesar, Bamboo Forest, The Cove and Seasons Buffet.
