Get ready to celebrate beer at the 2nd Annual Repeal of Prohibition Party

Utica, NY.. Join F.X. Matt Brewing Company and St. Elizabeth Medical Center in their celebration on the anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition.  Along with the Saranac beer selection, F.X. Matt Brewing Company will be serving their traditional Utica Club. It holds the distinction of being the first beer to be served (within 60 minutes to be exact) after the announcement of the repeal of Prohibition. In a crowded room at the historic Hotel Utica, it was brought out on a silver platter to the tune, “Happy Days Are Here Again.”

Along with St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation, F.X. Matt Brewing Company will hold the 2nd Annual Prohibition Party on Friday, April 9th from 6 – 9PM at their historic Brewery. Be there to toasting to our freedom to drink beer in style! Don’t forget to dress the part.

Saranac 2nd Annual Prohibition Party

Tickets are $30 per person if purchased by March 31st, and $35 per person if purchased April 1st or later. Admission includes Saranac beverages, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, live entertainment, and a silent auction with exclusive prizes. Local musicians Lawless, Strung Sideways, Pianoman and Co., Gary Johnson, and Crushing June will perform throughout the Brewery.

Tickets may also be purchased by visiting St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation Office at 2209 Genesee Street, Utica or the F.X. Matt Brewing Co. Gift Shop/Tour Center at 830 Varick Street, Utica.

Proceeds from this year’s event will help St. Elizabeth Medical Center with many important initiatives currently underway.
