Beer Connoisseur Magazine released second issue
The Beer Connoisseur Magazine’s Second Issue Coming
ATLANTA, GA – The Beer Connoisseur Magazine has released its Spring 2010 Issue nationwide on March 9th, three months after its debut edition turned heads all around the beer world. Based in Atlanta, the quarterly has already made quite a name for itself, and now it looks to further its blossoming popularity with a new collection of eclectic articles.
“The emphatic response to the first issue shows that beer lovers have been craving an authoritative, sophisticated voice to unite the many elements of today’s vibrant brewing landscape,” said Nick Kaye, the magazine’s Managing Editor. “There are so many amazing stories that need to be told.”
Lynn Davis, the Founder and Publisher of The Beer Connoisseur, added, “We’ve seen an unbelievable amount of interest from beer fans far and wide since the debut issue came out. It’s obvious that The Beer Connoisseur has struck a chord, and we can’t wait to get our new issue into readers’ hands.”
Among the many highlights of the Spring Issue, which includes pieces by well-known writers like Stephen Beaumont, Evan Rail, Bob Townsend, Carolyn Smagalski and Martyn Cornell, among many others, are a profile of Garrett Oliver, the renowned Brooklyn Brewery brewmaster; a search for the heart of the Czech Republic’s old beer culture; accounts of beer’s recent forays into the world of fine dining; and tours of wildly popular breweries like Dogfish Head (Milton, Del.), Full Sail (Hood River, Ore.) and Left Hand (Longmont, Colo.).
But that’s just a start. Readers will also find takes on the meteoric rise of San Diego’s beer scene; beer’s sometimes-surprising place in works of classic literature; the recent gains good beer has made at baseball parks around the country; and, once again, expert reviews of 20 craft brews, including six from within the burgeoning Southeast scene.
Along with its print edition, The Beer Connoisseur spreads the word of good beer at BeerConnoisseur.com, which launched last summer. The thriving online community allows beer fans to exchange ideas and stay connected, and it keeps them up to date with the latest in all things beer. The Beer Connoisseur™ has the beer world’s largest following on Twitter (twitter.com/BeerConnoisseur), currently with more than 31,000 followers, and is also tremendously popular on Facebook (facebook.com/BeerConnoisseur).
Issue 2 will be available at Borders, Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million stores around the country, as well as in Kroger grocery stores and a number of the top beer shops in the Atlanta area. It will also be sold at United States military bases around the world. Subscriptions may be purchased online at www.BeerConnoisseur.com.
