New Release and June events for Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project
FIELD MOUSE!
We are launching a new beer tomorrow night (5/26) at Green St in Cambridge. 5-8pm.
The beer is Field Mouse’s Farewell and Dylan at Green St will be serving the beer with a Jasper Hills clothbound cheddar crostini, all for a ridiculously low price ($5 last we heard, but don’t hold us to it!). Get there before the beer runs out, and say hi to us if you make it!
Beer specs: It’s a late spring seasonal beer, a 7% French-inspired rustic golden farmhouse beer full of different grains: Rye, Oats, Wheat and Barley. Like what a mouse would eat. The hops are Strisselspalt from Alsace, and Bramling Cross from England, and we combined Belgian and English yeast strains. Oldy woldy worldy.
This beer has a tune recorded by Dadd Travers’ Tape Recorder.
SHOPPING!
We also launched our online store this week: store link. All the prices include shipping, and there are some fun things to choose from. We are fighting the urge to iron patches onto EVERYTHING!
Events:
- PHILLY!: Coming up is Philly Beer Week: our fantastic friend and representative Jim Barnes will be partying up a storm. If you or anyone you know is in Philly, check out our events and say hi. We are also showing some of our art in this exhibition in Reading, PA: Check it out, we’re in very good company! http://www.designdrinkandbemerry.com/
- BOSTON!: And straight after that, it’s Boston’s first ever beer week! June 11th-21st. We’ll be doing a St Botolph’s Day pub crawl starting at 12pm on 17th June (St Botolph is the ancient Saxon saint who gave Boston it’s name). We’ll also have a beer dinner at American Craft on 16th, and of COURSE, we’ll be at the ACBF on 18th and 19th, in full plumage!
