Game Night with Jillian’s Lucky Strike & Harpoon Brewery – Boston, Massachusetts – On Monday, June 14th Harpoon is sponsoring Game Night at Jillian’s Lucky Strike. We’ll be hosting Pool and Bowling tournaments, so bring your team in for a chance to win prizes from Harpoon or a free party at Jillian’s Lucky Strike in the future. If you’re not feeling too competitive you can still come in with your Friend of Harpoon Card and get a free game of bowling – including shoe rental – a free hour of pool, or a free half-hour of ping-pong. It’s all available between 4 PM and midnight.

Game Night doesn’t stop with the games though. In addition to Harpoon IPA on draught, we’ll be offering the Leviathan Series selection Big Bohemian Pilsner, the delicious UFO White, and the newest year-round selection Belgian Pale Ale. So come in and drink some delicious beer with good people and fun games. You won’t find another event like this for during Boston Beer Week!

Casktastic! @ Redbones – Beer Tasting / Release – Redbones Barbeque – Somerville, Massachusetts – Come sample some of the freshest local beer you can find at Redbones from June 11-18, during Boston Beer Week (June 11-20). Help us celebrate our local brewers within the 128 belt by tasting 2 to 5 local cask beers every night!

CBC Beer Dinner – Beer & Food Event – Cambridge Brewing Company – Cambridge, Massachusetts – CBC will be hosting a 3-course beer dinner paired with 3 CBC brews. The whole dinner including brews will go for 35 bucks.  Menu:

  • Appetizer: Colchester Neighborhood Farm Ham Croquettes, Verril Farms Greens and Radishes, Kolsche Mustard Cream, Paired with Three Rings (Belgian Pale Ale)
  • Entree: Sauteed Rhode Island Striper, Local Sugar Snap Peas, Bok Choi, Savoy, Hefeweizen Curry Sauce, Paired with Hefeweizen (Bavarian-style Weizenbier mit hefe)
  • Desserts: Butter Brook Farm Strawberry-Rhubarb Crostada, Toscannini’s French Vanilla Ice Cream, Paired with Arquebus (Summer Barleywine)

3 miles, 5 beers (on tap), 10 cent wings with Smuttynose The Asgard – Cambridge, Massachusetts – Come join Smuttynose and The Asgard as they start Beer Week off with a little exercise (this may be the last time you lace up your sneakers after this epic week). Dan from Smuttynose and Josh from the Asgard will lead a group run around Cambridge and then back to the Asgard for five diffeerent Smutty’s and 10 cent wings!!!!

  • Start: 6 o’clock at the Asgard (350 Mass Ave. Cambridge, Ma)
  • Beers: Shoals Pale ale, Star Island Single, Summer-Weizen, Rouge De ‘Shire (flanders red), Finest Kind IPA

Allagash Night – The Kinsale Irish Pub & Restaurant – Boston, Massachusetts – Try a selection of Allagash Brewing Company beers along with great food from the chefs at the Kinsale.

Rock Bottom Beer & Cheese Tasting – Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery – Boston, Massachusetts – Please join Brewer Scott Brunelle and the Rock Bottom Boston team as they kick off Boston Beer Week for their 2nd Annual Beer & Cheese tasting on Monday June14th at 6 p.m. on the patio(weather permitting). Scott and the team will pair five different types of cheese with five of Rock Bottom Boston’s award-winning handcrafted brews – you never know what Scott may pull out of the cellar!

So You Think You Can Brew?! – Homebrew Event – Gordon’s Wine – Waltham, Massachusetts – Gordon’s will be holding a competition in which home brewers will submit their brews to be judged by a panel of beer industry professionals. This will be a great opportunity for home brewers to get feedback and tips from the pros and prizes will be awarded for the best brew as judged by the pros and the audience. The competition will be limited to ~20 entrants, requiring each entrant bring 4 bottles of the same beer. Admission will be free to those bringing home-brew and $5 for guests. Pay at the door.
