Boulder Beer Dinner at Cambridge Common Restaurant – Just in case you missed the first two, or you’re an incredible glutton, here’s the third and final Beer Dinner during Boston Beer Week.

It’s St Botolph’s Day! And Boston is St Botolph’s Town! So, my friendlies, it is time to drink. And what would you drink but St Botolph’s Town, a rustic, dark ale made just for this exact purpose! What a marvellous coincidence! Click here

St Botolph was a Saxon saint who roamed Britain in 700AD. The word Boston comes from his name: St Botolph’s Stone/Town. His Saint’s day is 17th June, so celebrate by crawling all over his town.

Rich will be on hand to chat with customers and share samples of several of Bear Republic’s beers. Come meet Rich and show your love for Bear Republic’s products, then join him and others for the American Craft Beer Fest pre-party, being held next door at American Craft.

CBC Beer Dinner – Cambridge Brewing Company – Cambridge, Massachusetts – CBC will be hosting a 3-course beer dinner paired with 3 CBC brews. The whole dinner including brews will go for 35 bucks. Menu:

Meet & Greet: Lady of the Traquair House (Scotland) – Jacob Wirth – Boston, Massachusetts: Jacob Wirth located at 31 Stuart Street in Boston will be hosting an event featuring the beers of the Traquair House. It is our honor to have Catherine Maxwell Stuart, the 21st generation living in the Traquair House, will be present at the event. The Lady of the Traquair House will talk about the history of the oldest inhabited house in Scotland and its brewery.

The tiny Traquair House Brewery is known today for the excellent Traquair House Ale and Jacobite Ale produced there – despite a tiny production of less than 1000 barrels annually, the beers win accolades ranging from the late Michael Jackson – “a touch of oaky earthiness to balance its dark-malt nuttiness” – to five stars at BevX in 2010 to many medals in the World Beer Championships over the years. Traquair ales are made from spring water, Suffolk malt, and East Kent hops; Traquair is the only UK brewery to complete primary fermentation in oak vessels.

Open House @ the Harpoon Brewery to Celebrate Boston Beer Week! – Harpoon Brewery – Boston, Massachusetts: Open House at Harpoon to Celebrate Boston Beer Week!  Wednesday, June 16th and Thursday, June 17th – 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm

What better way to celebrate Boston Beer Week than to take a tour of the first brewery in Massachusetts to brew and bottle beer after a prolonged 25-year drought! From 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm we will be offering complimentary tours of Harpoon. Stop in and try our newest 100 Barrel Series beer, Pott’s Landbier (packaged on June 14th), and then hop on a tour of the brewing floor. Then head back to the tasting room for another sample for delicious, Boston-brewed beer! We look forward to celebrating with you!
