A brew festival is a celebration of beer, a gathering of the brewing clans. With 25 -30 brewers on hand to answer questions, it’s an opportunity for the beer novice and curious to learn more. Compare various styles of beer and discover what you really enjoy.

Join us at Point Sebago Resort on September 25, 2010. 11 AM to 5 PM for this beer tasting extravaganza with live music, a dozen food vendors and good company. Sample beers from local, regional and even a few “from away” breweries. You’ll discover some new beers as well as enjoy the many brews that have become favorites.

Point Sebago Resort, located on the shores of pristine Sebago Lake in the Lakes Region, is the perfect venue for this tasting event. It’s easily accessible off of Route 302 and offers on-site parking.

Ticket prices will be $20.00 prior to September 1st, after that date the tickets will be $25.00.   Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.mainelakesbrewfest.com, at the Chamber’s Information Center on Route 302 in Bridgton or they can be purchased at the event.

Allagash Brewing, Atlantic Brewing, Bar Harbor Brewery, Bray’s Brew Pub, D.L. Geary Brewing, Federal Jack’s Brew Pub, Green Mtn. Beverage, Gritty McDuffs, Kennebec River Brewery, Long Trail Brewing, Mass Bay/Harpoon, Oak Pond Brewery, Peak Organic Brewing, Sam Adams (Boston Beer), Shipyard Brewing, Sebago Brewing, Wicked Wines, Narragansett Brewing Co. There are several others we are waiting to hear from.

Food Vendors- will be expanded this year to include a wider variety of foods, from the standard hot dogs, chicken, and burgers, to all types of Sausage and pulled pork sandwiches, including the finest Maine Made Lobster rolls. In addition several local restaurants have been invited to bring their specialties.

Entertainment- Two local bands and the popular Mr. Tux will be performing throughout the day.
