It’s a big weekend for downtown Gardner. We have the biggest outdoor pedestrian fair anywhere around these parts (I think) and we are sprucing it up with beer and music and food. This year we are going to put a great big flat bed truck up the street and put Soulstice up there on Friday, 2 PM and Brian Chaffee, Danielle Miraglia and Tom Bianchi up there on Saturday, 1 PM. And down at the Ale House in our Beer Garden we have Don’t Blame Jack (Jack Babineau) on Friday, 1 PM and Grin Whistle on Saturday, 1 PM. All this in the street! And Beer! And Food! And Beer Maidens! And me! (huh?).
So I’ll keep it to the minimum here and just say we have beer, sausages, burgers, hot dogs, fried dough, potato salad and macaroni salad, all in the street, all under tents, in the dead middle of summer. Two days in a row.
