Blue Falls Brewery
Blas Fest Is Here – August 14, 2010
:  It’s another in our Summer Series of Bull Falls Biergarten Fests! Reserve Saturday afternoon from Noon ’til 6:00 p.m. on August 14, 2010. This time it’s the Blas Fest – the great sounds of brass band music by the Bull Falls Blasmusikanten (Brass Band), a 20-piece band, all local musicians, playing music from Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. The Jim Pekol Band will be filling in between sets.

At noon, Brewmaster Mike will be tapping his first ever IPA (India Pale Ale) brew. Stop in early and get a “free one” from the ceremonial Keg. Then grab a seat at one of the beer hall-style tables, enjoy some of the delicious food served by the Hiawatha Restaurant, refill your empty stein, and sit back and enjoy the good music and fellowship with friends.
Bull Falls IPA In The Fermenter

After literally hundreds of requests since our brewery opened, Brewmaster Mike (Mike Zamzow) has finally brewed an IPA (India Pale Ale). He commented just the other day that “We must be about the last brewery in the country that doesn’t yet have an IPA.” Well, now that has changed. Beginning on August 14, to open the Blas Fest, Wausau and surrounding area folks will have their first taste of the new Bull Falls IPA/ The beer will be golden in color and have a pleasantly hoppy aroma. The flavor is equally hoppy balanced with some malty sweetness, a real pleaser for IPA fans. We just had a little sneak taste from the fermenter today and it is coming along very well.
