In conjunction with Vancouver Craft Beer Week, Pivo Public House proudly presents The Brewer’s Dinner, hosted by Bruce Dean, President of The Whistler Brewing Company and members of the brewing team. Saturday, May 7th, guests will enjoy a fabulous three-course dinner expertly paired with The Whistler Brewing Company’s finest craft beers.

Pivo, meaning beer in Czechoslovakian, is one of Vancouver’s few truly dedicated craft beer establishments. The restaurant was designed with a mix of golden caramel tones and decorated with lighting fixtures and artwork reminiscent of pints and bottles with the vision of cultivating a casual beer culture for relaxed beer drinkers and connoisseurs alike.

The menu has been created by Pivo Public House’s head Chef Walter Sawan with the same passion he has put into growing his career. “I came up in the industry on my ability to create and evolve my ideas. I love trying new things and sharing good food ideas with anyone who might be interested.” Excited to have been able to create a menu that revolves around our love of beer and innovative food, Chef Walter Sawan and The Whistler Brewing Company invite you to enjoy a unique and easy-going tasting experience.

• Wasabi Pea Crusted Tuna Tataki – Bok Choy, Carrot Garlic Slaw and Smoked Red Pepper Sauce, with Whistler Export Lager
• Certified Angus Beef Sirloin – Yam and Kennebec Potato Cheddar Gratin, Grilled Asparagus, with Whistler Whiskey-Jack Pale Ale
• Chocolate Volcano Cake – Raspberry Balsamic Coulis, with Whistler Original Black Tusk Ale
