“Tastes of the Islands” – June Food & Beer Pairing – Tuesday, June 14th, 2011
We start the evening at 6:00 PM sharp with a guided tour of the brewery by our Brewmaster. Then at 6:30 PM our chef, Steve Byrne, shows off his talents with a magnificent four-course meal. Each course features a hand-selected ale or lager to compliment your meal.
- 1st Course: Conch Fritters – Diced conch in a cornmeal fritter with a sweet chili sauce
- 2nd Course: Tropical Salad – Fresh papaya, mango, and tangerines on a bed of mescaline greens, topped with sliced almonds and served with a key lime vinaigrette
- Choice of Entree
- Jamaican Spiced Rum Chicken – 1/2 chicken marinated in a blend of Jamaican spices and rum, flame-grilled to perfection, served with Island rice and broccoli slaw
- Seared Ahi Tuna – Sesame-crusted, seared Ahi tuna served rare and topped with a pineapple glaze, served with Island rice and broccoli slaw.
- Dessert: Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
These dinners are advance ticket sale only. The cost is $35.00 per person, tax and gratuity not included. Entree choice must be made at time of reservation. All reservations must be made by 6/2/11.
