MITY NICE HOSTS FOUR-COURSE “LOCAL COMFORT BEER DINNER” WITH METROPOLITAN BREWING

CHICAGO (June 2011) – Cheers! Mity Nice, at Water Tower Place, 835 N. Michigan Ave., sporting a new look and flavor with its revamped interior and new menu, will host a four-course Local Comfort Beer Dinner on Thursday, June 23 at 6 p.m. for $45.
Mity Nice’s Executive Chef Larry Donahue will prepare a comfort-inspired, four-course dinner paired with beers from Chicago’s own Metropolitan Brewing.
Bottoms up! The fun will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. For the first course, guests will enjoy Homemade Kobe Beef Corndogs with whole grain country mustard paired with Krankshaft Kölsch beer. Delight your appetite with a second course of Smoked Salmon Pierogi and simple salad made with locally grown baby greens, complete with a delicious German-inspired Flywheel Bright Lager. Next, guests will have the opportunity to savor the flavor with the Midwest Mushroom Swiss Burger, made with all natural, grass fed beef, sautéed monterry farms shiitake mushrooms and loraine swiss, topped off with Dynamo Copper Lager. Finish the evening with Caramelized Pear Upside-down Cake, homemade vanilla bean ice cream and Metropolitan’s secret brew, made especially for Mity Nice.
