Chef Tellez & Victory Brewing Company Team up for BEER-BQ at Square 1682

Philadelphia, PA – Square 1682, the New American restaurant adjacent to the Hotel Palomar, is cooking up a summertime celebration of excellent cuisine paired with outstanding brews with BEER-BQ — Beer & Barbeque Victory Dinner on Wednesday, July 13.

Chef Guillermo Tellez’s four-course BEER-BQ consists of Three Bean Salad with sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, cilantro, ranch dressing and crispy tortillas served with an icy Victory Lager; succulent Lobster & Corn Chowder made with local corn custard, grilled lime corn and served with Victory Summer Love Ale; Bucks County BBQ Pork Ribs with sage corn bread, spicy slaw and Tex-Mex black beans, served with Victory Hop Devil IPA; Chef’s summer Peach & Blueberry Cobbler with fresh whipped cream and served with Victory Golden Monkey.

“We wanted to craft a dinner that spoke to summer, was fun and incorporated our love of vibrant summertime flavors and great local beers,” says Chef Tellez.

BEER-BQ is available both on Square 1682’s attractive and inviting patio flanking Sansom Street and 17th; or in it’s upbeat and attractive second-floor dining room.

Square 1682 teamed up with PA’s Victory Brewing Company to create an exceptional menu of great good and delicious beers to create the perfect summer evening on the patio. Reservations are now being taken.

This celebratory summertime feast, including beverages, is just $40 p.p. and starts at 6:30 p.m.
