Cambridge Brewing Company has recently announced the menu details for their first ever Farm Dinner at Colchester Neighborhood Farm in Plympton, MA.

Who: Cambridge Brewing Company and Colchester Neighborhood Farm
What: CBC Farm Dinner – A Family style farm dinner featuring pork, lamb, chicken and vegetables from Colchester Neighborhood Farm and other Plympton area farms. Plus a variety of beers will be freely pouring with an eye toward the food and the season.
Where: Colchester Neighborhood Farm in Plympton, MA. Transportation will be provided by CBC. 2 Busses will be arriving and boarding at 4:00 PM.

Appetizers:

• Ham Salad on Cheddar Biscuits,
• Assorted Deviled eggs,
• Headcheese with Beer Mustard and Summer Pickles,
• Goat Cheese and Chard Stromboli with Roasted Tomato-Golden Raisin Jam

Family Style Dinner:

• Bannatyne’s World Famous BBQ Glazed Butter Brook Chicken
• Fennel, Chili and Garlic Stuffed Colchester Porchetta
• Spicy Lamb Stew with Potato Dumplings and Roasted Roots

Sides:

• Garlic Braised Bitter Greens
• Spinach, Roasted Apple and Hazlenut Salad with Onions, Goat Cheese and Fresh Pressed Apple Cider Vinaigrette
• Mustard and Honey Glazed Root Vegetables
• Roasted Parsnip and Potato Puree

Dessert:

• Apple Crisp with Cranberry and Oats and Farm Fresh Cream

Note: the menu is subject to some minor changes and tweaks here and there based on what is available.

Trip Details:

• 4:00 Busses Board on Hampshire St, right out in front of CBC and 1 Kendall Square.  School Busses will begin Boarding at 4:00. Guests should plan to arrive at the 1 Kendall Square courtyard in front of CBC at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 24th.
• 4:30 – The busses will leave promptly at 4:30pm.  The busses should arrive at the farm at around 5:30. There is a short walk (about 500 yards) down a dirt road to get to the site.
• 6:00 Beers Served and Appetizers Passed
• 7:00 Family Style Dinner
• :00 Dessert and Hanging under the stars
• 9:00 Busses Begin Boarding for the Return Trip
• 9:30 Busses Leave for Cambridge
• 10:30 Busses arrive back at 1 Kendall, Square

Cost:  A flat 85 bucks – all inclusive

That includes Tax, Gratuity and Transportation.  This is a ticketed event. You will need to purchase tickets ahead
of time by calling CBC.

Important: This is a SHINE ONLY EVENT with NO RAIN DATE

If the event is cancelled a full refund will be issued. There is no risk for you.  The event will NOT be rescheduled (Well, maybe next year).
