  • Oct 31st (MON): Allagash Ghoulschip release. Allagash Ghoulschip is a beer aged in oak barrels and brewed with pumpkin, toasted pumpkin seeds and molasses. October 31st at 8am (doors at 7am).   • Nov 3rd (THU): International Stout Day at Portsmouth Brewery. That’s right! November 3 is Stout Day and The Portsmouth Brewery is Celebrating the Dark Stuff!   • Nov 4th (FRI): BIG BEER BREWFEST at IncrediBrew. Nashua, NH. 6:00 PM.  Our last Brewfest of the year is going to be our BIGGEST…with BIG beers that is. This brewfest is not for wimpy beer drinkers. If you’re looking for a meal in a 22 oz. bottle, this one is not to be missed!   • Nov 4th (FRI): Mass Audubon sponsors a “Birds and Brew” beer tasting at the Boston Nature Center on Friday, Nov. 4. The event — will feature beers from Blue Hills, Cambridge Brewing, Clown Shoes, Cody, Harpoon, Jack’s Abby, Mystic, and Sam Adams — includes live music, food, trivia, prizes, and bird demonstrations by the Blue Hills Trailside Museum. It runs from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door.
  • Nov 7th (MON): Redbones holds its 17th annual Northwest Fest and kickoff and keg party on Monday, Nov. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. Pike Brewing head brewer Dean Mochizuki will be there, and 14 to 18 taps will be turned over to breweries from the Northwest, including Pike, Anacortes, Big Time, Boundary Bay, Elysian, Silver City, Alameda, Cascade, Deschutes, Lompoc, and Rogue. Free appetizers and cash bar.
  • Nov 13th (SUN): 5th Annual Harpoon Helps Grateful Harvest Beer-B-Q. Harpoon Helps and the New England Barbecue Society will again join forces to put together a Thanksgiving meal, barbecue-style, to raise money for the Greater Boston Food Bank, which supplies Thanksgiving meals for families in and around Boston. Tickets are $55, include turkey and all the trimmings, 3 Harpoon beers, and a commemorative Beer-B-Q beer mug. 3:00 AM – 6:00 PM http://www.harpoonbrewery.com

Octoberfest Celebration – all month – at Not Your Average Joe’s. Can’t make it to Bavaria for Oktoberfest? No problem. Joe’s bringing the legendary festival back home, now through October 31st. Make your online reservations and come join us. (Lederhosen optional.)

Beer Week and Beer Month at Henry’s Wine Cellar: The Third annual Oktoberfest is from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday. This event includes an authentic German Oompa band, lots of great authentic German cusine, and of course a great selection of imported and domestic beers to try. Beer tastings on thursdays.
