Global Beer Event: Coast to Coast Toast 11/15 (TUE)

For those who aren’t familiar with Vanberg & DeWulf, the experts in Belgian beers since 1982, they are the husband and wife team who co-founded Ommegang.

On 11/15/11 they are throwing the largest celebration of Belgian beer held on one day in the USA in this century. No kidding. Hundreds of bars, restaurants and stores – the places that have made beer culture in America so stupendous – are hosting Coast to Coast Toasts to mark the 30th anniversary of the founding of our company. Thirty of their beers from independent family run breweries will be the stars of the show (Saison Dupont, Scaldis, Lambrucha, Witkap anyone?).

For example: Name 3 Belgian beer styles (wit, abbey, lambic, etc.), name 3 spices Belgian brewers use (paradise grain, curacao orange peel, star anise), and name 3 classic Belgian beers & the style( Saison Dupont, Saison; Witkap Stimulo , Abbey; Scaldis, strong golden ale, etc.)
