The rise and the fall….. 2012 Brew U is postponed

News about the 2012 Brew U….

Due to challenges and unforeseen circumstances, the 2012 Brew University (Brew U) has been postponed. Originally planned for the 22nd and 23rd of June, Brew U was set to be an education/home brewing/olympic/beer tasting event like no other. As of late Wednesday, the team decided that it was better to move the date — rather than try to push ahead at this time.

It wasn’t a decision that we wanted to make, but it was better than the alternatives“, says Sean. “Brew U was a fun even to plan. We’ll revisit this event in the future.

Although Brew U has been postponed and not canceled, no future date has been set.  Thank you to all who were planning on attending and assisting with the event.

If you’re looking for something to do on the 23rd, Riverwalk (http://www.riverwalkbrewing.com/) and Cody Brewing (http://www.codybrewing.com/ will be hosting a home brewing demonstration in Amesbury, MA.  In addition, THE FESTIVAL (http://www.the-festival.us/tag/worcester/) is taking place at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA on the 23rd and 24th — the ULTIMATE Beer event!.

Also, the following weekend, check out the Amesbury Days Brewfest (http://heateventmanagement.com/amesbury-brewfest/) on Friday night and the New England Brewfest (http://www.nebrewfest.com/) at Loon Mountain, in Woodstock NH  on Saturday June 30th — we recommend that you order your tickets in advance, if you are planning to attend either event.
