Commercial Description:
With a snappy hop character, this isn’t just another brown beer masquerading as a seasonal. This is hearty fare brewed for the season of celebrations. Enjoyed at ease with friends and food, Winterfish will put a glow in the cheeks and warmth in the veins.

Pale and honey malts provide an abundantly deep foundation. Then, for bittering, flavor, and aroma, we use 100% Yakima Chinook hops in the kettle. For additional flavor and aroma, it’s more Yakima Chinooks in the hop-back. Perfect for festive feast, this is the hoppiest winter ale we know of! Savor a pint and you’ll know why Northwesterners agree: An ice cold Winter never sounded better!

Why I selected the Winterfiish:

Every year around Olympia WA we have a tradition of drinking a great beer that comes out once a year.  We look and can’t wait for the Fish Tale Brewing Organic Winterfish.  A special Cascadian version of an IPA the 7.5% can sneak up on you so be sure your done with your day and sit down relax and pour yourself a pint.  This for me is a yearly tradition and when December finally comes I finally break out one of many Winterfish ales.

About the BrewDad:  In Search of the Ultimate Barley Pop…

I am a Beer Geek and love Barley Pops.  I love the smell, taste and the feel of a cold beer.   It can be from bottles, cans and kegs.  The fresh pour from the first tapping. Family trips are planned and they always have breweries, pubs and special taverns on the agenda.

About Fish Brewing:
From its home in beautiful Olympia, Washington, Fish Brewing Company has been hand-crafting ales of Northwest proportions since 1993. Founded by Crayne and Mary Horton and a few dozen local investors, Fish began operations humbly. With a 15-barrel brew house, two 15-barrel fermenters, and one dairy tank, we brewed for our neighbors up and down Puget Sound. Growing steadily since, Fish is now an award-winning craft brewer with distribution throughout the great Pacific Northwest and beyond.  To learn about Fish Brewing, please visit http://www.fishbrewing.com
