Commercial Description:

“This mythological beer emerges from the depths of our brewery every winter. Made with Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hops and six organic malts. “A-Bomb” has a complex floral, spicy and citrus hoppiness backed up by just the right amount of malt sweetness.

Why I selected the Abominable Winter Ale:
A-Bomb, as many now call it, has quickly become an Oregon favorite as the days become shorter and the air gets cold. Typically described as a hoppy winter ale, Hopworks perfectly marries the west coast pale ale and winter ale styles together.

I love this beer for how delicious it is, but also the beautiful artwork displayed on their new 16oz cans and 22oz bombers. Created by local Portland artist Martin Ontiveros, the Abominable Yeti is a figure many Oregonians have come to look forward to.
