SUMMER QUEST: Friends, lobster rolls and craft beer
My friend Bianca and I have a great time coming up with random things to do to spice up our long walks. We are currently training for the 26th annual Jimmy Fund Walk http://www.jimmyfundwalk.org/@JimmyFund, the 26.2 mile Boston Marathon course to help raise funds to crush cancer. We began our Jimmy Fund journeys separate, but together share a common goal to raise funds, support and cope with family/friends cancer struggles and keep our minds and bodies healthy.
On a recent 7 mile power walk, Bianca and I concocted a plan to find the “best” lobster roll/beer pairing in our area. We live in Salisbury Massachusetts (which is near NH & ME seacoasts) and summertime is the perfect time to have fresh lobster paired with nice local beers. Moreover, what a great way to end a long hot summertime walk than to rest our rears on a deck somewhere in New England and enjoy a killer lunch!

What began as just Bianca and myself would soon expand to “guest” eaters/drinkers…
My third lobster roll experience would include Sean, and friends Gavin and Kristen. Our night began on the Decks in Portsmouth.
