Why I selected Jubelale 2014:
Ever since I have been into craft beer there has been Deschutes Jubelale in my glass during the cold dark winter months. A light spiced winter beer that changes ever so slightly and ages so well. Grab a 6er save a few for the years to come and then after a few you have great verticals of a beer that age like a fine Imperial Stout. I have had this amazing discovery over the years and the chance to share with friends alike who always love my winter beer verticals. Hoppy Christmas my friends and cheers to the 31 days of Beer.

I love the malt flavor as is envelopes with the spices and the hops come out with a bang at the end with huge citrus finish. This beer warms up well so after a few runs on the sled letting the glass sit it even has this more complex malt and the citrus seems to mellow out nicely. A true Pacific Northwest Classic Winter Ale. For an added bonus the artwork changes from year to year and to some has become the welcoming of winter when you see the new labels.
