8th Annual Beer Bloggers Conference – starts tomorrow!
“The Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference was founded in 2010 and has been run every year since. In 2017 the conference will take place August 4-6 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with approximately 130 attendees from throughout North America.”
The previous conferences include
- 2010 Boulder, Colorado.
- 2011 Portland, Oregon.
- 2012 Indianapolis, Indiana.
- 2013 Boston, Massachusetts.
- 2014 San Diego, California
- 2015 Asheville, North Carolina
- 2016 Tampa, Florida.
- 2017 Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Here are some activities for the 2017 conference
- Kickoff Party with Stone Tap Takeover: Stone Brewing @The Rumpus Room
- Introduction and state of the union with Julia Herz of the Brewers Association. (Never want to miss this one)

Here are some predictions for this years conference
- Cheese. Well, we ARE in Wisconsin. Cheese will be talked about, in may shapes and forms — Cheese Curds, Cheese Puffs, Blocks of Cheese, Wheels of Cheese, Cheese and Sausage, Cheese head hats, Cheese and Potatoes, Mac and Cheese.
- Untappd Check-ins. There will be many badges earned during the Beer Bloggers Conference.
- Weird/awkward Introductions, followed by a hug. Hummm, you look familiar. Are you beerbouy45 on twitter? Oh yeah, I’ve been following you for a long time. Nice to finally me you. I’m wookie234.
- Drinking before noon. Yes, warm up the “slow it down” badge on Untappd. Beers will be flowing, early and possibly all day! Can’t drink all day, if you don’t start in the morning.
- Other random possibilities….. Someone will fall asleep in a locked bathroom, likely to hear someone say “whales bro”, Huck will have a cable to charge any device…..
If you’re joining us, Enjoy! It’s a fun time and great place to get re-charged. The passion for beer is in all of us. Sometimes the passion gets a little tired (like when you’re not sleeping cause a baby is keeping you up at night). Take time and step out if you need a break. There’s a lot in a short period of time.
