We Give Up! You Win!

So, we tried something a little risky a few weeks ago.

Our famous and popular (now we realize just HOW popular) buffalo chicken tenders have been a staple on our menus for over a decade now (They’ve been here longer than me!).

We figured it was time for a change. I estimate I’ve probably eaten over 122 lbs of them over the years.  We were ready to move on and try something new.

Now, personally I love the new beer-battered chicken tenders. And our customers have given us nothing but excellent feedback about our new Chef David Drew and his spin on CBC’s beer inspired menus.

Ok, almost ‘nothing’ but excellent feedback.

Quite frankly some of you were really pissed when you found out that the buffalo tenders were gone. And you let us know about it!

“IF IT AINT BROKE DON’T FIX IT!”

So, after overwhelming demand to bring back the tenders…

Announcing…

The Return of the Buffalo Chicken Tenders – Tender Eating Contest

***On Friday, August 8 th, at 6:00pm***

We will be hosting a Buffalo Chicken Tender Eating Contest .

Tomorrow I’ll be sending an official Registration Form to sign up and I’ll give you all the details about the prizes etc.

If you know anyone whose heart was broken by the disappearance of the Chicken Tenders, or who would jump at a chance to gorge themselves on Spicy Buffalo Chicken Tenders with our signature CBC Stinger Sauce and win cool prizes while doing it, than forward this email on to them.

P.S. Of course, The Buffalo Chicken Tenders will also be returning to our menu. This Thursday at 5:00pm our new Summer Menu will be released, complete with ‘old fashioned’ CBC Buffalo Chicken Tenders.

If you didn’t get a chance to read the email I sent yesterday, here’s a quick recap:

-We’ve had Buffalo Chicken Tenders on the menu for over 10 years.
-We thought it was time for a change so we took them off the menu.
-Many of our customers were downright PISSED OFF!
-These customers told us so!

So what else could we do but bring them back.

The Classic CBC Buffalo Chicken Tenders will be returning this Thursday Night with the release of our revised summer menu.

But, to celebrate their return we thought we should do something fun.

This Friday (The 8 th) at 6:00 we will be hosting a contest…

The Return of the Buffalo Chicken Tenders
Tender Eating Contest

Here’s out it’ll work.

-The contest will begin sharply at 6:00pm on Friday, August, 8th
-We will have up to 10 contestants competing in this event
-Each contestant will receive a CBC t-shirt of their choice
-Each contestant will have 180 seconds to cram as many
chicken tenders down their gullet as possible
-1st place will receive a $100 CBC gift card
-2nd place will receive a $50 CBC gift card
-3rd place will receive a $25 CBC gift card
-It’s free to enter!
-Antacid and Breath Mints NOT INCLUDED

Like I said registration is limited to 10.

-A sentence or two explaining why you like the CBC Buffalo Tenders So Much.

Now, many of our tender starved patrons will be jumping at a chance to chow down on Friday.
