A year later after the fire at Matt Brewing Company
It was only a year ago that the Matt Brewing company experienced a terrible fire that destroyed part of their bottling line.

Well, here’s a message from Nick and Fred Matt:
Here’s to You.
Today marks the anniversary of the fire that devastated our packaging facility. It also marks a year in the rebirth of our Brewery, and the growing support of you, our loyal fans. The silver lining: in the past year we have worked to rebuild, and will have an even better production and packaging facility than before. Our can line is in the process of being installed and will be running by the end of June. Our new warehouse, replacing the floors we lost in the fire, will be completed by the end of the summer. Rebuilding is also allowing us to further advance our “Be Green” efforts as we will be utilizing geothermal cooling technology in production and installing more energy efficient equipment and lighting throughout the facility.
We just kicked off the summer with our first Saranac Thursdays event of the year, and over 1,300 Saranac fans braved the rain to enjoy the music together. The signs of renewal, and summer, are here.
Thank you for your outpouring of support-your phone calls, emails and messages are appreciated, and remind us every day why we’re here. So we raise a glass to you, our supporters, friends and Saranac family.
