Upcoming Events: Haverhill Tap, Brew Camp and ACBF

Here are some local events for this week:

HAVERHILL TAP EVENT: Ascension Belgian IPA Release Party – Thursday‏ June 18

The Haverhill Tap will be releasing their first 22 oz. bottle, Ascension Belgian IPA, on Thursday night at 7 p.m. Hope everybody can make it up! They will be selling the bottles for $5 at the bar. See you in Haverhill!

ACBF – American Craft Beer Festival – Friday June 19 and Saturday June 20

The American Craft Beer Festival Returns to Boston. The American Craft Beer Fest was such a hit last year, it’s back. Craft Brewers will be traveling from all across to country to participate in this even. There will be hundreds of beers poured over the two days, many of which are not currently available on the east coast. Click here for more info.

HOMEBREW CLUB: Brew Camp – Sunday June 21

Next Sunday the North Shore Homebrewers club will be hosting a beer camp at the Mercury Brewery in Ipswich. If you plan on brewing get there around 10:00 AM to set up and start boiling. Anyone who wants to learn how to brew using all-grain instead of extract should also plan on getting there early.

Everyone is welcome to join us whether you’re brewing or not.

HAVERHILL TAP EVENT: German Ales Beer Dinner‏

Five course all German Ales Beer Dinner at The TAP on Tuesday June 23rd with reception starting at 6:30 p.m. It’s $50 per person and includes tax and tip. Tickets must be purchased before the day of the dinner.

Reception
– Halve Hahn (German bread and cheeses) with Nico Kolsch
First Course
– Hot Potato Salad over Greens with Berliner Weiss
Second Course
– Sausages over Homemade Sauerkraut with Benderbrau Dunkelweizen
Third Course
– Sauerbraten (traditional German pot roast) with Alt
Fourth Course
– Red Berry Dessert in Vanilla Sauce with Abstacker Weizenbock
