Beer Release and Beer Dinner: Pretty Things Beer Today Brewery

Message from Dann and Martha

Pretty Things Beer Today released their latest seasonal, “American Darling”.   It’s a pale lager, 7% abv with a healthy amount of German Hallertau hops and a “hard” water character similar to beers from Dortmund. It’s also filtered, which means it’s more portable than their normally unfiltered beers. Check it out on the web (American Darling).

One thing has bothered us though. We’ve heard quite a few people say that they would drink AMERICAN DARLING either during or after mowing the lawn. No! We designed this beer to drunk instead of mowing the lawn. Let it grow to the sky and have a good-time summer!

Also a new is batch two of Baby Tree.  This beer that was intended to be an Easter-time seasonal, but due to popular demand it could end up being a year-round offering.  A few small changes have been made to the recipe. Look for a slightly higher alcohol content (just over 9%), a mildly higher bitterness, and a little less sediment than batch one. Also, a second yeast strain was added to the primary fermentation.
