Dogfish Head Beer Events in New England (Jan/Feb 2010)

Dogfish Head has announced their January/February beer dinners for New England.  Here are the details:

January 27, 2010 – Dogfish Beer Dinner at the Perfect Pear

Dogfish Head will be hosting a beer dinner at the Perfect Pear in Bradford, VT on Jan. 27 from 6-9pm. This is the first time that Dogfish will host a gathering at The Pear and it looks to be stellar event! They are still wokring out the menu and pricing, so check back here or call them direct. Please make reservations with the Pear by calling 802-222-5912 or check out the web site.

February 11, 2010 – Dogfish Head Beer Dinner

Come join us for a Valentine’s Day-style Dogfish Head Beer Dinner at The Upper Crust Cucina in New Milford, CT on Feb. 11. This dinner is a special treat for anyone single, happily dating or annoyingly in love. The dinner – $45 plu tax and gratuity – will include the following:

• Raison D’etre (Belgian -8%)… will be pared with: Fried stilton ravioli on frisee salad with duck confit, anjou pear, and pistacchio vinaigrette
• 90 Minute IPA (Imperial IPA – 9%)… will be pared with: Vietnamese bbq pork bahn mi with daikon slaw and cilantro
• Palo Santo Marron (Imperial Brown Ale – 12%)… will be pared with: Shrimp and andoullie sausage jambalaya
• Midas Touch (Ancient Ale made with Honey -9%)… will be pared with: Basil, mint lamb skewer with grilled sweet pepper and fingerling potato
• Red & White (Belgian Strong Wit – 10%)… will be pared with: Bombolini filled with espresso mousse

February 18, 2010 – Sam & The Italian Brewers Host Extreme Party

Sam and the Italian brewers from Birra del Borgo and Baladin will be in town for Extreme Beer Festand will be visiting Lord Hobo on Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m. for an early extreme tasting.

This is a one time event that will never be duplicated so do not miss out. A beer line-up will be posted as soon as it is secured.

February 25, 2010 – Dogfish Tasting With Free Glasses & Pizza!

Dogfish Head will be in Concord, NH for a free tasting at Barb’s Emporium on Feb. 25. Come and hang out with Allen from DFH and sample some of our beers.

Free Pizza – Sweet!

Also, Allen will have some glassware to giveaway for all Dogfish six packs bought – while supplies last.
