June 14th – Boston Deli Progressive Beer Dinner – This reservation only event offers a menu carefully chosen to pair the complex flavors of hand crafted beers with the cuisine of Chef Ken Schaefer.

  • First Course – Cedar salmon cake w/grilled pineapple roasted serrano salsa paired with McNellie’s Pub Ale.
  • Second Course – Apple wood quick seared Ahi cevichè on sesame tomato tortilla cup with greens, avocado, Chayote mango slaw, sesame vinaigrette, balsamic drizzle matched with Sundown Wheat.
  • Main Course – The Entree showcases beer as an ingredient in Marshall Old Pavilion braised beef brisket with caramelized onion, pecan wood roasted root vegetables, farmer cheese polenta triangle with roasted garlic & truffle oil served with Old Pavilion Pilsner.
  • Cheese Course – The Cheese Course features a display of Jarlsberg, Gruyere, and Manchego with grapes, kiwi & berries paired with Atlas IPA.
  • Desert – Key Lime Bars.

June 14th – June 20th – Melting Pot Father’s Day Menu featuring Marshall Brewing Co. – The Melting Pot restaurants at both the Riverwalk in Jenks and Bricktown in Oklahoma City will partner with Tulsa-based Marshall Brewing Co. for a weeklong Father’s Day celebration. From June 14-20, the fondue restaurant will offer a special beer dinner menu option in addition to its usual offerings. Guests who choose the Father’s Day beer dinner will receive delicious three-course fondue paired with three beers from Marshall Brewing Co. for $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

The menu will start with Cheddar Cheese Fondue paired with an Old Pavilion Pilsner, followed by an entrée of garlic chili chicken, citrus pork tenderloin, spicy shrimp, and spinach-gorgonzola raviolis featuring a sriracha aioli sauce with an Atlas India Pale Ale (IPA). For dessert, guests will enjoy a tasty White Chocolate Butterscotch Fondue paired with McNellie’s Pub Ale.

Additionally, The Melting Pot will host a special beer dinner presentation from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16 in Oklahoma City and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17in Jenks. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle and speak with Wes Alexander and Eric Marshall of Marshall Brewing Co. about the local company’s beer pairings. Reservations are recommended for the presentation.

We all know that the folks in France, Italy and Spain can make some seriously tasty cheese, but few people REALLY know all about the FABULOUS offerings from right here in America. We’re not talking about “American Cheese”, those floppy little squares wrapped in cling film. We’re talking REAL, DELICIOUS, SERIOUS cheese; and not just from Wisconsin. There are amazing dairies and creameries all over the country, offering a huge variety of fantastic cheeses.

There are just as many great breweries making some incredible beers, some right in our own backyard (okay, downtown). Just in time for 4th of July weekend, join The Cheese Wench, along with Eric Marshall and Wes Alexander from Marshall Brewing Company for an evening of Beer & Cheeses, all artfully crafted right here in the US-of-A!
