The 24th Annual Jimmy Fund Marathon Walk takes place this Sunday, September 9th, 2012. Join @2beerguys (Sean), @SamuelAdamsBeer, and Krew at McGreevy’s Irish Pub & Sports – to cheer on the runners/walkers during the Jimmy Fund Marathon Walk (http://www.jimmyfund.org). Doors open at 11:00.
The Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk is a one-day event that unites thousands of walkers, sponsors, and volunteers for one mission: raising funds to help Dana-Farber Cancer Institute conquer cancer.
Since 1989, the Walk has raised close to $80 million to support patient care and cutting-edge research at Dana-Farber.
Amber (@aljpeace) will be running/walking the marathon with Bianca (@SkinRx02). Join us, along with Sam Adams Brewery for a pint to celebrate this amazing event. Whether you are walking, running or a supporter, we CAN help cure cancer.
Cancer treatment is improving every day, but it can be a grueling time. With the recent cancer detection(s) in my family, this walk/run is near and dear to my heart. It’s time to help out – please show your support in anyway that you can!
