RIVERWALK BREWING CO. ROLLING OUT NEW BOTTLING LINES:
NEW BOTTLES HITTING STORES THROUGHOUT MASSACHUSETTS
NEWBURYPORT, MA – Riverwalk Brewing purchased a brand new 6 head Meheen M6 filler and ML labeler. The machine was delivered on May 19th with the first bottles rolling off the line May 21st. “It was important to install a bottling line that would be efficient and also maintain the highest quality and improve shelf life. The Meheen filler has some of the best specs in the industry for oxygen pickup and performance,” said Founder & Head Brewer Steve Sanderson.
This system will allow Riverwalk to package and distribute 16.9 oz. (500 ml) bottles to accounts throughout Massachusetts, providing a more consistent, higher quality packaged beer in greater volume than the previous package (32 oz. growlette). All bottled beer will now feature a bottled on date as well, allowing brewers and patrons to monitor quality and freshness.
Riverwalk made the investment after consulting with customers, retail partners and fans. The new bottles, labels and look are all designed to help introduce Riverwalk to more beer drinkers around the region.
