Commercial Description: Pyrolysis Imperial Stout which is dark as our nights, rich with malt flavor and enough alcohol to warm you inside. That is why we called this beer which is our thickest and highest alcohol beer to date – Pyrolysis, which is the thermochemical breakdown of organic material at elevated temperatures in the absence of oxygen.

Why I selected the Pyrolysis Imperial Stout:
This is one of my all time favorite beers for the Holidays.
What would you pair this beer with?
I recommend with a fine cigar, along with chocolates and dried fruits.

Top Rung Brewing is a 10 barrel production brewery with tasting room at the brewery. We are the only 10bbl production brewery with a tasting room on site in Lacey, WA. Our tasting room provides open views into the working brewery allowing patrons the “feel” of being in the brewery with the smells and sounds of the brew house. Our brewery is located in the Hawks Prairie area of Lacey. When not brewing and tending to our home/family responsibilities, we are also full-time firefighters (IAFF L3825) in the Olympia area. Our friendship and love of brewing culminated into this dream turned reality of opening a craft brewery.
