Alemith Evil Dead Ale and Other news
One of our most popular seasonal ales, Evil Dead Red, is on tap at the brewery and select accounts around town. AleSmith’s Evil Dead Red is brewed once a year and released in the Fall. This rich and malty red ale has a huge American hop flavor and aroma profile, making it a very unique beer. The sweet maltiness and reserved hop bitterness are pleasantly perceived in each sip, as well as the citrusy hop aroma that will tantalize your senses.
AleSmith’s Evil Dead Red is available at the brewery for sample tasters and 1/2 gallon growler fills. Look for Evil Dead Red at San Diego and Los Angeles’ finest microbrew bars and pubs too. There will also be a limited number of casks dispensing Evil Dead Red from authentic English-style beer engines. AleSmith Real Ale Casks
Real ale from the cask has long been enjoyed in England, but only recently has it found an audience here in America. AleSmith is proud to offer casks of real ale to a limited number of Southern California bars and restaurants. Real ale is naturally carbonated in the cask, which leads to a creamy and smooth mouthfeel. The natural carbonation produces a mousse-like head on the beer that lasts to the final drop.
Visit the following fine establishments to sample AleSmith Real Ale Casks:
- OCTOBER 27th: The San Diego Tap Room will be tapping a cask of Evil dead Red
- OCTOBER 28th: O’Brien’s Pub will be tapping a cask of Evil Dead Red
- OCTOBER 31st: The Blind Lady Ale House will be tapping a cask of Evil Dead Red
- NOVEMBER 5th-11th: Many casks of AleSmith beers will be served around town as part of the San Diego Beer Week 2010. Please check the schedule at San Diego Beer Week.
